BLEACH first airing

Bleach started airing on October 5 of 2004, and ran for a total of seven and a half years till march o 2012. During this period the anime had many ups and downs ( with downs being mostly during the filler times) but in the end, anime was a huge success and is considered to be among the part of big 4 ( Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto Shippuden, and Bleach).
It is written by Tite Kubo and revolves around the story of Ichigo Kurosaki an average high schooler whose life changes when his family gets attacked by a hollow. A soul reaper Rukia Kuchiki comes to save them but ends up failing in doing so and has to transfer her powers to Ichigo changing the course of his life forever. Now he works as a soul reaper facing many dangers and protecting the world from the so-called "Hollows" which are the monstrous soul-eating spirits that originate when a deceased soul is consumed by negative emotions or is forcibly converted by other hollows.

Thousand Years Blood War

After waiting for 8 years and being so successful nobody could have imagined that the anime would just disappear for the whole decade. However, the long wait of the fans is finally over. In March of 2020, the news regarding the continuation of Bleach finally stated the anime's return as it will be covering the last arc of Bleach bringing its story to closure. But due to covid-19 the anime's release date kept on getting postponed (as it was for everything else at that time) and is now finalized to be aired as fall anime of 2022. This Arc is one of the largest arcs of the bleach canon and fans can expect 100+ episodes easily with a few fillers in between them.
